What do you suppose would happen if people started taking personal accountability to heal themselves from their own past, traumas, addictions, hurt and anger? Gandhi gave us a huge clue of the keys to real change in our world.
As a society, we spend a great deal of time swimming in our frustration and anger with everyone else. It’s almost become the norm to hold onto our anger and project it onto others. Yes, of course it’s difficult to see the pain around us and the problems in the world. But in order to evolve as humanity, we must bring the focus back to ourselves, where our true power lies. We must be willing to acknowledge our own anger, pain and suppressed traumas and step into changing ourselves first and foremost.
We’ve all been hurt by others. But staying in blame, anger and resentment hurts us the most. There is a way to truly free ourselves of the pain, but it takes a willingness to let it go. Sometimes we become unconsciously hooked into our pain. We must make the unconscious, conscious and courageously step into growth and change. And then, as we share our light, wisdom and growth with others, we will impact the world in a tremendously positive way!
In my book, “Being Called to Change,” I will give you the tools to become consciously aware of what is up for you to change, and then show you how to make real and lasting changes in your life!
